Bridgetown, Ohio

Bridgetown is a census-designated place (CDP) in Green Township, Hamilton County, Ohio, United States. The population was 14,407 at the 2010 census.[3] In earlier censuses it was listed as the Bridgetown North CDP.

History

Bridgetown takes its name from Bridgeton, New Jersey, the hometown of early settlers in the area.[4] It was settled circa 1820.[5]

39°9′29″N 84°38′8″W / 39.15806°N 84.63556°W / 39.15806; -84.63556,[6] just west of the city of Cheviot and 9 miles (14 km) northwest of downtown Cincinnati. Ohio State Route 264, Bridgetown Road, runs through the center of the community.

 According to the United States Census Bureau, the CDP has a total area of 4.3 square miles (11.2 km2), all land.[3]
